June 5, 2017 It was only a small wedding, yet the news of the Ultimate Hope getting married made headlines across the country. Byakuya and his Future Foundation men were guarding around the church to protect the wedding from swarm of papparazzis and reporters. Despite all of the chaos outside, the inside was calm and serene.
The wedding attendees were the remaining family of the groom and the bride, most of the survivors of killing game, class 79 who was just graduated, and few officials from FF.
Once the groom and the bride arrived, the ceremony started. There were sniffles but Nagito sobbed and was being disruptive. Hajime was bewildered because he had never seen Nagito cry let alone sobbing HARD. At first Nagito looked like he was just being dramatic as usual, but his tears were overflowing and he had trouble breathing. Hajime could felt daggers toward them. Thankfully Nagito seems calmer when he held him so he held Nagito through the ceremony and it went smoothly after that.
Makoto and Kyoko exchanged vows, and when the ceremony was over, they went to the church roof and made their escape by helicopter.

Nagito was strangely inconsolable after witnessing Makoto and Kyoko’s exchanged vows. Even after the ceremony he was still crying softly. Hajime brought Nagito to quiet part outside of church, far from people to calm him down.
He knew that Makoto is Nagito’s idol and that did make him jealous which led him confessing to Nagito. He hadn’t thought about it for a while but the worry started to appear again. Was he crying because he was heartbroken?
but then Nagito started to talk. He said that he had never attended a wedding before. Seeing two people joining their lives was just so beautiful he couldn’t help but cry. He wished he could experience something like that too.
Hajime had been thinking about marrying Nagito for a while now. It had only been a lingering thought, but after hearing him say it, he felt an overwhelming urge to give him what he wanted.
Hajime didn’t have a ring or a speech. They were next to a vending machine. Hajime proposed to Nagito.
Nekomaru wanted to take care of Akane. They got married few days later in Hope’s Peak gym.
Ibuki seemed to be in a polycule. No one involved was entirely sure when it started but they were happy. (They had group sex every weekend)
Sonia managed to attend Makoto and Kyoko’s wedding, but she was heavily guarded and constantly monitored. Fortunately, she was allowed to speak with the others, even if only briefly. There was sadness behind her smile and as soon as the ceremony ended, she was forced to leave. Gundham could only watch Sonia from distance and didn’t approach her during the ceremony, but as she was being escorted away, he stepped forward to press something into Sonia’s hand. Whatever it was, it made Sonia smile, softly, but genuinely. (Later, Sonia escaped her confinement and visited Gundham in the mountains. When she returned to Novoselic, she was already pregnant.)
Mikan had a proper crush, a healthy one, with her therapist assistant.
Peko will stay in prison for a long time. Fuyuhiko visited her as much as he can, and already expressed his wish to marry her despite the circumstances.
Nagito accepted Hajime’s proposal without hesitation.
