List of criminal charges and sentences
</aside>
The survivors faced trial for their actions during the despair state. Due to their insanity they were given reduced sentences.
Those who committed non violent crimes were permitted to do work at Hope’s peak or other affiliated organization.
Those who were guilty of serious offenses could opt to work for the Future Foundation rather than jail time due to the usefulness of their talents.
Only those whose crimes were deemed too grave faced imprisonment.
The trial was fairly swift for most of the survivors.
Their identities were protected to allow them a normal life so people would not know they were former Ultimates or remnants of despair.
After receiving their sentences, they went their separate ways, trying to adapt to their new lives.

Locations in Real Jabberwock
</aside>
Jabberwock
Each member of Future Foundation was provided housing in the residential complex on the Fifth Island. Most chose to reside there for convenience despite the gloomy atmosphere, while some prefer to reside elsewhere.
Hajime and Kazuichi were apartment neighbors. Komaeda also lived in the same building but on a different floor, though he’s rarely around.
Fuyuhiko, Mikan, Hagakure, and Toko lived in a different buildings located in the same area.
Byakuya lived in a separate luxury suite exclusive for the higher ups.
The boat connecting the First and Fifth Islands operates once every hour and takes about 15 minutes per trip. In total, it takes an average person around 40 minutes to reach the Future Foundation headquarters from the First Island, but Aoi can make the trip in just ten minutes by swimming and running.
Gundham joined Jabberwock’s nature reserve team and now lives in the mountains on the First Island, where he’s created a sanctuary for the animals he rescued during the tragedy.

The difference between the First and Fifth Islands is like night and day, despite their close proximity.
The Fifth Island is dominated by high rise buildings and factories. Its sky is tinted red from environmental damage, and snow falls despite the tropical climate.
Meanwhile, the First Island is surrounded by nature and blue skies.

Hope’s Peak and The Others
Makoto and Kyoko, Akane, Nekomaru, Hiyoko, and Ibuki resided in or within radius of Hope’s Peak.
Mahiru traveled around the world while attending online university.
Teruteru was serving a jail sentence but was scheduled for release in the near future.
Sonia was under house arrest in Novoselic and Peko was still in confinement waiting for her sentence.
June 14, 2014 → March 31, 2015 The arrangement turned out great for both of them. Nagito was happier seeing Hajime everyday and started to take his treatment seriously. As for Hajime, he gets to unwind, escaping from his busy schedule with Nagito. Spending time with Nagito everyday, even if only ten minutes, made Hajime regain his feelings for him. Lately, he began to have sexual thoughts and wet dreams involving Nagito which made he feel awkward around him. He tried to dismiss it as not being able to have sexual release lately.
After ten months under Hajime’s care, Nagito got discharged. He’s still under control for his neurological illness, but his physique was deemed healthy enough to even finally start working.
Since then, Hajime threw himself back into his workaholic routine. While he genuinely had a lot of work to do, he also used it as a way to avoid Nagito. Outside of the biweekly checkups, Nagito usually only caught glimpses of Hajime rushing from one lab or seminar to another. For the rest of the year, Nagito took the initiative to approach Hajime, teasing and pranking him often to get his attention (Hajime seemed like he could use a distraction).
