Days are slow and life has settled few years after their marriage, but that is exactly what they want after things they had been through.

Nagito wakes up a little earlier than Hajime. He stays in bed for a while, watching Hajime’s sleeping face before getting up and going around the house opening the curtains. The dog wakes up with him, and he feeds him before moving on to his morning routine. He had given up drinking the anti energy drink to make him relaxed and replaces them with tea, which made Hajime relieved. Hajime wakes up to the sound of boiling water and the smell of tea, and joins Nagito.

Hajime cooks breakfast for both of them. They don’t eat the same thing for breakfast; Hajime always eat a full, japanese breakfast while Nagito’s stomach can only handle something lighter in the morning. He prepares Nagito’s meal first, calculating the nutrition so Nagito can have a balanced meal, and uses the scraps to make his own food. Nagito watches Hajime expertly work on their food for a bit and goes to cleans the house, a routine that brings him comfort.

The house is big, far too big for just three of them and and it could be overwhelming for one person to maintain, but Nagito wants to take care the space he shares with Hajime himself. Cleaning is also one thing that he feels he’s good at so he can take pride and satisfaction at his well kept home.

Hajime calls for Nagito when the food is ready and they sit down to eat. The floor is chilly in the morning, so Nagito rests his feet on Hajime’s feet under the table.

After breakfast Hajime washes up and gets ready for work, while Nagito washes the dishes and wipes the kitchen. At the front door, Nagito reaches down, pressing a soft kiss to Hajime’s lips to send him off with a warmth.

Nagito resumes cleaning the house until 10 AM. In total, he usually spends around three to four hour each day to do housework. After he was done he goes in the open bath and indulges in a one hour long leisurely bath while basking in sunlight, which may be his favorite part of the day. After that he might go outside to do errands or buys groceries, or occasionally visits Hajime during lunch.

After lunch he does whatever he feels doing and takes an afternoon nap. He wakes up at around 4 PM and do light cleaning to move his body, and do prep for dinner. With limited use of his hand he usually follows disability friendly recipes.

Hajime arrived home usually at 7 PM and immediately takes a bath that Nagito prepares for him.
